Niall Geoghegan (B.Comm UCD, MBA IMD Switzerland) is an experienced business leader having worked in senior positions in advertising, consumer goods and services. He also has significant experience in hospitality having served as board director of Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc for 10 years and subsequently as CEO of Jurys Doyle Hotel Group and Jurys Inns. He is a director of Pembroke Hospitality with considerable experience in consulting across multiple jurisdictions, including Ireland, the UK, Europe and the Caribbean. He remains a director of a number of companies.

Mark Lynch (fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland) is an experienced CFO, having worked at senior level in hospitality finance for more than 30 years across a range of businesses from family-owned hotel groups to PLCs. Mark is a co-founder of Pembroke Hospitality which is a leading provider of hotel advisory and asset management services, both in Ireland and internationally.

Elliott Griffin is the founder and MD of BVP Investments Ltd. Since incorporation Elliott and his team have worked with a wide variety of owner managed businesses including those in the hospitality sector by providing financial and strategic support and advice. Elliott is passionate about helping businesses achieve their potential and exploring how they can benefit from technology and sustainable business practices. Prior to BVP, Elliott worked with Hibernia Capital Partners and PWC where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. Elliott is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and has a BComm from UCD.

Stephen Mason (MSc) joined BVP in 2021 as an investment partner. He had been with Bank of Ireland for over 30 years and has a strong breadth of expertise in operations, sales, product development, finance, internal audit and human resources. Stephens' senior roles included regional manager Dublin and Cork, managing director Bank of Ireland Mortgage Bank, director of consumer banking Ireland and UK and head of group customer operations.

The investment committee is responsible for ultimately sanctioning all investments through its formal credit committee process. The investment committee is comprised of Niall Geoghegan, Elliott Griffin and 3 independent committee members.

Louise English (B.Comm, FCA) has over 20 years’ experience as a non-executive director with various top organisations. Having qualified as a chartered accountant with PWC she joined IBI Corporate Finance, Irelands’ leading corporate finance advisor. She was the director responsible for the private company division, advising on fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring. Louise has since been a been a non-executive and member of the audit committee of Bord na Mona, St Vincent’s Healthcare Group, Sherry Fitzgerald Plc, An Post and chair of FM104. She is currently a director of UCD Foundation, chairperson of .IE (the Irish domain registry) and independent director and chair of the audit and investment committee of REPAK which facilitates packaging recycling on behalf of its members and the Irish economy.

James Muldowney is an experienced leader in international advisory services, commercial strategy, corporate development and mergers and acquisitions. He has operated at senior levels of GE, McKinsey & Co, C&C Group, Irelandia Aviation and Ervia. He has experience in a wide variety of industries and across many functions, including consumer goods, hospitality, industrials and aviation. He has his own boutique consultancy, North Shore Advisors, and works with clients primarily on strategy and growth.

James is a graduate of UCD (B. Comm) and Havard Business School (MBA).
